Bring Back Don Felder

We have all heard of The Eagles, have we not? If you haven't, seriously consider listening to their songs. But not a lot of us know that one of the members, Mr. Don Felder, has been terminated from the group. Now, in my opinion, Don Felder is the best guitarist The Eagles have ever had, surpassing even Joe Walsh. I'm not sure what's been going on lately, but I think Don Felder is still at war with Messrs Glenn Frey and Don Henley. And for those of you who don't know, Don Felder wrote the ENTIRE music for one of rock's most influential and recognised songs, 'Hotel California'.

I am here, just a normal fan, trying to get as many people to sign this petition. Please get Don Felder back into The Eagles. We need him.

    • Don Felder made up a third of what the Eagles were... from the music writing to the awesome guitar playing. Felder may have been mistreated, but for the "Hell Freezes Over" concert, all the members were able to forgive for the disputes... why can't they do it again? If the Eagles don't want there to be a Hole In The World, why do the want there to be a Hole In A Friendship?

    • What is going on?? Don Felder IS the Eagles!! Without his stellar guitar playing it is no longer the Eagles. Tonights Farewell 1 Tour SUCKED!! I was so disappointed that Don was not on stage I could not watch it all. The new guitar player is not bad but cannot even be Don's guitar tech. What happened to Hell Freezes Over?? The Eagles just lost one of their biggest fans for more than 30 years!

    • After being a fan from the beginning. This is the worst that could happen. Taking Felder out is no worse then takeing any of the others out. The problem is it's not the Eagles without any of the 5 members. The NBC show was all anyone, with an ear needed. It sounded like the Eagles but it truly was not. There are many local groups that do very good imitations. Walsh was absolutly the best addition and the Felder extraction was the very worst. I'm sure they'll sell all their shows out but they'll not get my $300.00. Everyone I've spoke with recognized the sound difference in harmonies and while the guitarist used was outstanding he sure is not dON fELDER.

    • Felder is the eagles best guitarist. I recently watched the Eagles network concert in Australia this past week and they introduced Hotel California with a horn section instead of Felders great intro. Unbelievable!

    • Maybe Frey and Henley should waive all future royalties for "Hotel California" since they kicked out the guy who came up with it! Felder and Walsh were one of the best dual guitar match-ups in rock, just as Rossington-Collins were from Skynrd. To split that duo up is completely brainless. Did Joe Walsh agree with his firing? Does anyone know? Frey and Henley should be ashamed!
