For years, we as fans have tolerated the BS of Paul Finebaum on his radio network, whether it have been on WERC or most recently on WJOX. As fans, we have had enough.

Finebaum represents everything that is wrong with both sports journalism and media. He doesn't report news or stories, he reports his opinion on an issue. An opinion that is always negative towards either Alabama or Auburn in order to generate an audience. Whether it be October or June, Finebaum never fails to spew the same unnecessary garbage in order to generate a rise from both fan bases. In spurts, we as fans either hear him praise our school or bash our school.

This is where we draw the line.

Upon signing this petition, I agree to stop listening to the Paul Finebaum Radio Network and thus boycott the sponsors of WJOX and The Paul Finebaum Radio Network until Paul Finebaum is taken off the air. By signing this petition, I also will encourage people I know to stop listening to The Paul Finebaum Radio Network as well as boycott those that sponsor WJOX as well The Paul Finebaum Radio Network.

    • I usually listen to Dunaway and Brown because of Finebaum's constant negativity, but occassionally switcth over to his channell to listen to 3rd parties such as Donnan, Herbstreet, etc. call in. However, today is last straw. He has lost his journalistic integrity. Like a caller stated today, he has turned into Jerry Springer. His only motive to appear on ESPN is to hurt Auburn and feed his ego because he knows that Auburn is not racist. Its a shame that Jox has quality shows such as the "Opening Drive" and the "Roundtable".
