We will be sending this petition to President Obama for him to make College a Free service just like regular school is.

Mr. President Obama,
We the Undersigned feel that College should be provided as a free service by the Government. Research has proven that High School graduates make more money in a lifetime than a non graduates and high school graduates are less likely to become criminals. This is because of the free schooling service provided by the government. It is also proven that college graduates make 1 to 2 million more in a lifetime than non-college graduates and are also highly unlikely to become criminals.
With this said we feel that making college a free service would benefit the government and the economy in the long run. This being due to more taxes being paid in a lifetime from college graduates along with the substantial decline in crime rates saving the police departments money along with the jail systems.

    • We would be very greatful if this happened. Many people already have economical problems without college, so many cannot afford to go and will have a much more difficult time and less oportunities for a good job. If college was free, much more people would have better jobs and this would help the economy since there would be more professionals.

    • Times are hard, especially for college students. We're the future, but we're poor. Help all of us have the chance to become something and follow our dream just as you have, Obama.

    • I agree, my family cannot afford to send me to college, and scholarships these days seem to discriminate. I make honor roll almost every time at my high school yet I cannot get a scholarship, and I am a cross country runner, along with running indoor/outdoor track.
