Civil Society advises the G192 to vote

Noting attempts to block the current negotiations on the Doha Review
Conference on Financing for Development (FfD), civil society advises UN members to take a vote on the Doha outcome document.

The majority of the G192 can and should ignore anti-democratic power-play by the Bush administration.

It is clear most leaders recognize the urgency of the crises which will hit the most vulnerable countries and peoples, particularly women, unless there is real action now!!

We reaffirm our support for a new United Nations Conference on global finance and monetary system. We also support a strong follow up Financing for Development process to make sure the MDGs are achieved.

G192 choose:
1. Vote for democratic people-centered development
or
2. accept the veto of Bush & Co
