It has been confirmed that Airbus Filton, the home of Concorde plans to remove the current visitor centre and move Concorde G-BOAF into storage away from public view. This is an outrage! Concorde is not only a symbol of the South West, but it is a symbol of Britain, a symbol of this nations once great aviation industry and a symbol of Anglo French trade. She is an icon of air travel and is loved the World over. To place Concorde into a hangar, away from public view is unfair. Filton is the home of Concorde. If Manchester, Edinburgh and New York can have Concorde, then so should her home town! We are appealing to the local MP Doug Naysmith to step in and stop Concorde from being banished from public gaze. To put her away is an insult to those who built her, and those who flew her, whether as crew or as a passenger or to those who simply stared in amazement as she thundered across the skies. Thank you.

- Please don't put Concorde in a hanger where no-one can see her. The south-west and indeed the world is proud of Concorde, she is an icon of aviation technology, a symbol of continents uniting and working together and we all deserve the right to see this spectacular aircraft.

- It is such a shame that Airbus want to do this! Concorde should still be flying-never mind removing BOAF from the visitor centre to a hanger. Aribus+BA hang your heads in shame for removing an icon and potentially removing this iconic aircraft out of view!!!!

- The public must visit her to keep her in the public eye - were YOU aware you could? Please everyone, book to see her. Ask your children's teachers to try to book a school trip. Please, please, please, Mr Naysmith, can you do what you are able to voice our opinion?
