WE THE UNDERSIGNED hereby petition the above to formally induct Fear and Loathing: On The Campaign Trail '72 by Hunter S. Thompson into the Modern Library collection.
Having previously inducted Hell's Angels and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, we believe that by inducting this book, the Modern Library will have properly recognized the profound contribution made by Hunter S. Thompson to American Literature, Politics and Journalism.

- Hunter Thompson wrote modern classics, and people will still read his books 500 years from now. This book deserves its place in The Modern Library.
