I support an amendment to the GWU smoking policy that would prohibit smoking within 50 feet of entrances of all University-owned campus buildings, for the comfort, health, and safety of students, faculty, and staff. Signs that read "No smoking within 50 feet of doors" are currently in place outside the entrance to Ross Hall. This should be extended to all University-owned buildings.
