I hope you will understand that most of us, the undersigned have dreams, aspirations, ideals and hopes and that therefore you will take the time to read this petition.

We, the undersigned, strongly believe in things. Whether it is things that are happening that shouldn't be happening, things that aren't happening that should be happening or things that are happening that are alright, I hope you will understand that we believe that things need either to change or stay the same.

We are petitioning you because we believe that you have the power to ensure that some things either stay the same or change. You have the influence to do things or not do things. You, above all people or organisations, have the power to ensure that certain things are done, while certain other things which have been done are undone, and even that certain things that are about to be done are stopped before they are done (unless it is to the good that they are done, in which case go right ahead and do them, or allow them to be done).

So please, for the sakes of all of us DO SOMETHING! Or DON'T DO SOMETHING! Either way, please listen to us.

If our children cannot walk on the green grass; they will have to walk on the pavement.
