This "Gift of Life" project was born in response to the growing need of organ donors in India, and the almost negligible awareness that exists on the subject, among people from all walks of life.

In the absence of a sufficiently large donor bank, countless human beings are left with no choice but to wither away and die. The Gift of Life project aims to change that through an increased awareness of the issues concerning organ donation.

If even one person benefits from an organ donation that was pledged thanks to this project, it would mean that someone, somewhere has given another human being, a Gift of Life...

I hereby pledge to be an Organ Donor, in accordance with the details mentioned in the donor card that I carry.

I also promise to carry my donor card with me at all times, and pledge to inform my family members and friends so that they are aware of my preference, and are able to act accordingly, when the time comes...
