As we all know, prayer was removed from public school (in some states), "under God" was removed from our Pledge of Allegiance, the Bible & Ten Commandments are no longer allowed to be displayed in our Federal courts, especially the Supreme Court. Do you see a pattern here? Now, they're wanting to remove our Nation's motto from our currency. Pretty soon they will erase God from the public eye, all together.
MSNBC took a poll to see who thought whether or not In God We Trust should be removed from American currency. The results were astounding, eight-six percent said, No. The motto has historical and patriotic significance and does nothing to establish a state religion. While fourteen percent said, Yes. It's a violation of the principle of separation of church and state.
There is much debate about the actual meaning of Separation of Church and State. Some say religion should not, in any way, be referenced to or acknowledged by the government, whatsoever. That is not what it means at all! Separation of Church and State actually means that the government cannot control what religion we as individuals choose to practice, nor can it impose any one religion on the people of the United States of America. Hence the phrase, freedom of religion. The motto in question does not in any way force those who choose not to believe in God, to worship Him. They still possess the right to their choice of religion or lack thereof.
A man named Matthew H. Rothert was responsible for introducing the motto, then bringing it to the attention of Congress. They, along with President Eisenhower passed the bill HR 619 on July 11, 1955 and by 1956 it was printed on all newly made currency. For the last 54 years it has been a part of who we are as a Nation. Let's stand up and fight for what is rightfully ours. For if we do not stand for something, we will fall for anything!

- Our Forefathers & majority of people of this country recognize the necessity of God in our personal lives to govern justly. Don't let a few ruin our heritage & wisdom of our Founders. George Washington said: "It is impossible to rightly govern a nation without God and the Bible."

- George Washington said, "It is impossible to rightly govern a nation without God and the Bible." Our forefathers possessed the wisdom to know that human beings need God's infinite wisdom to guide us. Let's put it to a vote. We are a Christian nation. We should not let a vocal few dictate that we ignore our heritage, forefathers, and God Almighty. We must have the courage to stand up, or face the same historical destiny of other Godless civilizations: self-destruction.

- It is the Moto we have lived by for centuries, my suggestion is if they don't want it. Then move to another country. The US is crumbling, and I feel it is because God has been removed from everything. What happend to the days when majority ruled
