Remove the product Sergeant's Gold Flea & Tick for dogs from the market. This product contains a potentially toxic dose of the pesticide Cyphenothrin because the dosage appears not standardized to assure the safety of the product. There have been many complaints about this product on the internet, all describing the same symptoms (extreme agitation, tremors, respiratory distress, foaming at the mouth, vomiting, occasional seizures and/or paralysis) lasting several hours producing misery for both the pet and pet owner. Following dosage instructions is not the problem, the problem is quality control at Sergeant's. There have been many complaints filed with Sergeant's but they prefer blame the customer rather than assure the safety of their product.

- Gave it to my dog and within an hour she was twitchy and her mouth was watering, I immediately showered her with shampoo and soap for quite some time, I am sitting with her now hoping she wll be okay. It's evening in a rural town in WV and quite a ways to the emergency vet, guess I'll have to go if she doesn't settle down, she seems to be for now, but I may go anyway. Some bargain this stuff is! Should be outlawed. I will be printing this and other blogs re this product and bring it to our grocery store and ask them to remove it from their shelves.

- sergeants product almost kill my dog, Sergeant's Gold supposed to kill fleas not dogs, the product has no kind of warning thats it could kill pets, even tabbaco tells you ,you can die from it, we the consumers reserve the right to be inform that this product is POISON to most pets and that a large amount of pet are at risk of DEATH just by applying SERGEAT'S GOLD FLEA and TICK, I know VETS. heve not blown the wissle because is profetable to them also that means bussines for them too, but all I speak for is my dog that can't speak for him self' hope you make an example out of this, tyhank you

- My normally sane dog is going CRAZY. Looked online to find any issues with Sargeants Gold and found countless horror stories. I am calling the vet now; 1:30am.

- After apply this to my Miniature Schnauzer, she experienced excessive drooling, foaming at the mouth, and was extremely agitated. We've washed her off and are giving her Benadryl. I was HORRIFIED to learn that this was so common with the use of this product. This should NEVER be sold to anyone unless it states that this is poison to dogs!
