In 1971, a controversial british film from director Ken Russel was released. It was "The Devils". I saw this film recently on VHS, and I have to say, we need the uncut special edition DVD release NOW! They promised it, but now have gone belly-up on it. We need the definitve DVD release, with digitally remastered sound & picture, the documentaries made for the film (The old one, & the recent new one, found on the bootleg DVD), and the film to be uncut, as well as contain all of the trailers, posters, and what-not related to the film. We also need commentary from Ken Russel, because he ain't going to live forever. Many people want it, and so do I.

- Please do not surpress this film from DVD any longer! In doing so, you are effectively acting out the film's theme against the very public who want to see this released and to make you profit from it. Please be brave, stand up against the political/religious controversy, and use your status to represent the interests of genuine film art and genuinely political, serious adult film-making.

- Warner, you're not doing filmmakers and fans any favors by censoring this film from the public. We want to see it, We want to own it, we want to give you our hard earned money to purchase it. So is alientating your customers from giving you money a good business decision or would you like to be rewarded with our money by doing the right thing?

- This is really amazing that The Devils has gone unseen (in this country) in it's truest form since it's release in 1971. Time to do the right thing and make a lot of people happy. And while you're at it, how about a digitally restored version of Altered States?

- If we can easily get a special edition, uncut, remastered DVD of THE EXORCIST, why not an even more interesting story about exorcism done with humor, class and a touch of anti- religious hysteria thrown in to the mix.
