H4 Dependant Visa Holders Should be Allowed to Work

We, the undersigned are non-immigrants on an H4 dependent visa which does not allow us to work. We feel this is utterly unfair as we are a huge number of young and talented women forced to waste away our youth and skills. Our chances of getting an H1 visa which has work permit is very slim because of the numerous application requests that USCIS gets every year.

We want to give our families and ourselves a chance to have a better life. We request the government to allow us H4 visa holders to work and make living in the United States a positive experience for both the country and our families.

    • If we are here to be with our spouses who are considered eligible to work does no one think that we have equal rightto work. being allowed to work to improve one's living conditions is the basic right. Why have a spouse visa at all in US if they would be deprived of working here? Either scrape of the concept of spouse(dependant) visa from US immigration or let us work here and have dignity.
