Save the Yeti at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park

For going on a year, the Yeti contained within the Expedition Everest roller coaster at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park has been in B mode. B mode makes the Yeti, which is arguably the highlight of the entire ride, almost impossible to see and greatly diminishes the "WOW factor" of the ride.

There are reports that there are significant problems with the attraction that are not being addressed for whatever reason. Continuing to run the attraction in a B Mode configuration is considered bad show by old Disney standards and needs to be rectified as soon as possible.

By signing this petition, I am expressing my displeasure with the current management team at DAK (Disney's Animal Kingdom), WDW (Walt Disney World), and TWDC (The Walt Disney Company) for allowing this to continue for so long and demand a plan be put in place to get this attraction back to A mode operations ASAP.

    • It's just "bad show" for an attraction that is so young to already be broken. Please do whatever is necessary to repair the Yeti and return him to the normal/intended operating mode.

    • WOW!!! I thought I was the only one who was incredibly disappointed by the fact that the Yeti is shrouded in darkness. I went on the ride 3 times because I thought that I was somehow missing him. I am not the biggest fan of roller coasters however I did ride this with the intention of actually seeing this animatronic wonder. Was I let down. Come on Disney, this is unacceptable. Bring the Yeti back to life.

    • I understand the yeti is in a critical state as of now, but it can't be left in B mode forever. After the travel channel advertising of a lit up scary yeti, many guests may be disappointed by a "disco yeti" at the end of the ride. Please try to find the time and money to fix it when you can.
