This petition is the form that I desire for everyone to sign so that I may have a better chance at getting the HuGz campaign sponsored by Office Depot before I ask them to consider giving a sponsorship. I do work for Office Depot and that is why I am going to ask them to help out make this a possible event that I would want to start ASAP.
To explain the idea behind HuGz. It is a campaign much similar to the Free Hugs video seen all throughout YouTube.com. The video became an inspiration to millions of people that viewed it over the time it has been posted. I wish to do the same idea but with something of that combined of another video called Where The Hell Is Matt? This video was shot around the world and sponsored by Stride Gum. I would like to take the idea of simply hugging a random person from different areas of America and capturing it on video and making it available for public view on YouTube. I am not asking for a crew to be with me. I originally planned this to be a solo job (all equipment, editing, traveling, etc...) But if Office Depot were to offer an additional hand in assisting in some of those areas then I would accept the help.
What I am trying to do is trying to change the world one hug at a time. I understand that I can't change all the billions of people in the world. But I can make a video and show the world that even through hardships, that a hug can brighten ones day immensely.
So please help out by signing this petition. I really need the signatures so that I may have some financial assistance. I am a 21 year old person hoping to not only change his life but change a few others for the better. I am not forcing you to sign, but it could help me in the long run hopefully.
