Asian Americans still face stereotyping today. Like all Asian know karate, do good in school, and own groceries or restaurants. An example of stereotyping today are movies in a lot of movies they all know Asians are always the bad guys. In the movies they all know karate and have accents. Also the boss always is located at a restaurant in china town. A movie like this makes it hard to see Asian Americans in different ways.

Also all Asians are supposed to do well in school, but the truth is not all Asians do well in school. Some Asians are actually doing really badly in school. If you are Asian and dont fit in this category it makes them feel like an outsider. This stereotyping makes Asian American feels boxed in.

We want to make people aware that Asian Americans are stereotyped. We would like use this petition to encourage everyone to stop this injustice.
