More Ovals in the IndyCar Series

Tony George, and Indy Racing League Management. We have been loyal fans of the IRL, and believe it is a great league. However, the recent change to become more and more road and street course based is not something we are for. IndyCar was created on the basis of getting these IndyCars where they belong: on Ovals. The addition of some road courses has been a nice change of pace. But, as we continue to get closer and closer to 50/50, it's making us wonder whether we really want to support this series or not. It's becoming the opposite of what the league was founded on, and what brought us in as fans. We respectfull ask you to add more ovals to following years schedules. You are seriously risking losing us as fans!

    • Big fan for over 40 years keep up the good work WE LOVE the new direction of the series. Only keep the ovals that can make money. Please come back to Portland International Raceway the NW needs an IRL Race. Good job TG!!!!

    • More parking lots less ovals. It is histerical to sit back and watch all the faithful whine about the IRL.tony sure did fool a lot of people with that crappy series. Thanks Tony for killing ow racing in the USA.

    • I have attending many IRL oval races, but I don't even watch the road/street races on TV. The 2009 schedule is a major step backwards! My interest in the IRL is greatly diminished.

    • It seems as though the IRL is slowly becoming CART II. Unless the IRL wants another open wheel split, they would be better off getting more ovals on their schedules.
