For 20 years, J2K has provided services to youths in the NDG community. As of May 5th 2010, we, Jeunesse 2000 NDG were informed by the City of Montreal about their plans for closure of the NDG Recreation Center including (J2K).The purpose of this petition is to ensure the continuum of our services to the community without interruption. In addition, our relocation should be compensated and that J2K be guaranteed the same amount of square footage or more to accommodate our programming (live instrument room, recording studio, computer room, kitchen, basketball gym, staff office, lounge room, closet space for equipment). Now, on our 20th anniversary, we are asking for your help to ensure the City of Montreal respects our request for an improved space for the youths.
