    • this area needs more restaurants and stores that will generate revenue. No more fast food or Family Dollar stores but nice restaurants and reputable stores like the ones that are taking over Washington Road

    • Like the above person mentioned, we, too are interested in reviving South Augusta. I am really tired and frustrated about many of the situations that take place within our area and would like to know what can we as a family do in order to revive the area we leave in. Why can't we have another Wal-Mart? Why can't we have hotels that are not Motels, were our out of state guests can stay that are not 40 miles away from my house. My family enjoy weekend adventures, yeah we have a skatng ring, we have a select few restaurants, why are there not more of a variety. South Augusta would benefit by having a strip shopping area just like Wheeler Road has. This too would lessen the traffic in that area unless you really just chose to go there. That is the word we in South Augusta need more CHOICES. I pay taxes, I live in a very nice house, I should be able to voice my oponions and I know and have spoken to several of my neighbors and they, too feel the same way.
