We the undersigned, urge Governor Strickland to commute the sentence of Marvallous Keene. Mr. Keene is scheduled to be executed on July 24, 2009. In 1998, Mr. Keene was sentenced to death for multiple murders committed in late December 1992. There are mitigating factors that exist in Mr. Keenes case that warrant consideration by Governor Strickland. These factors are: Mr. Keenes youth, clean record, mental disorders, his remorse and confession, and the repeated, traumatic loss of father figures from his life.

Governor Strickland should commute the death sentence of Marvallous Keene.

    • taking a life is wrong thats what marvallous did but what right do we have to take his its just as wrong making him have to spend the rest of his life thinking and remembering what he did and the lives he changed forever is torture in itself . the facy that he doesnt want a stay of execution tells u that everyday when he wakes up it is killing him let him suffer let him live this comes from a man who actually knew him before whatever demons he was hiding took over.
