Ladies and Gentlemen:

LAAAE, a non-profit charter school, is requestingand deserves to be granteda 5-year renewal of its charter. I urge you to support this request in every way you can.

LAAAE deserves to exist. It has made a difference in the Community, the students are doing better than they ever had before, and parents are relieved to have finally found a school that is working effectively for their childrens academic and personal success. Schools like this should be given your full support and every opportunity to succeed. Yet factual errors in your non-renewal rationale, and breakdown of due process make it clear that LAUSD is unjustly targeting this charter school.

It is in your power to rectify this situation by doing the right thing on April 14th. I urge you to cast your vote to grant LAAAE a full 5-year renewal of its charter.

    • LAAAE School has provided a safe environment to the current students that can not be found from other middle school around the area. The school admin has provided a structure that students focus on studying and not on fear of bullies or any gang related activities. These should be one of the criteria to retain schools that are making a big difference, not only to the students, but also to the community.
