We, loyal shoppers of wal-mart are writing to ask that wal-mart please reinstate their lay-a-way program. This program, which has been in use since 1962, is very important to us, your customers. We have been loyal for years, buying large items on lay-a-way, our children's school clothes, Christmas items and Major household purchases. There is a high demand for this type of program and we beg that you reconsider your choice to do away with it, Because wal-mart is one of the few companies that offer every thing in one store. You are getting a lot of business that would otherwise go elsewhere. With the economy in the state its in, people are not spending large amounts of money at one time or don't have a large amount to spend at once. With the lay-a-way program you are helping those who don't have the money all at once. It would be a mistake not only for your company money wise, but also a mistake you are making in regards to your customers, and the benefits it will provide for them. isn't wal-mart always saying there goal is to provide there customers with what they want and need. Even if it was seasonal, this would provide piece of mind and one less economic worry for the holidays, Many loyal customers would benefit from this program.
