BREACH OF CONTRACT AND BAD FAITH:
This petition is to gather the support of the victims and their families to expose the horror stories they have been forced to endure at the mercy of Workman's Compensation.Upon signing this petition, I am asking that the Government changes the laws, prosecute illegal action taken by insurance companies and their employees and give victims and families the change to file class action law suits against the Insurance Companies that harm them. The "legal" way Workman's Compensation forces their victims into submission by with-holding funds, denying necessary medical care, and destroying lives is not only against the law but they also practice BREACH OF CONTRACT and BAD FAITH ACT. The contract that these insurance companies have with our employers and therefore with the employees doesn't protect the injured worker if the Insurance companies can brake laws and keep getting away with it.
My request: Change the laws more in favor of the Injured Workers', prosecute the ones that don't apply with the laws, and allow injured workers to file class action suit against Workers' Compensation Insurance companies for Breach of contract and Bad Faith.

Thank you very much for your support.
Yours truly,

    • The adds that state the workers comp just want's to put injured workers back to work should be taken litterly. They DO want to put us back to work while we are still injured. They delay and deny in the hopes that the injured worker will give up and just accept their resultant limitations and pain as just one of lifes jokes. This is obsured, and obscene. Workers comp would save much more money if they would immediatly give the proper and utmost care immediatly after the on the job injury. The delay tactics cause irreparable damage and ongoing injury to an already injured worker. This is NOT what workers comp was set up to do. If there any in a position of authority to change the way things are handled, and they have even a tiny ammount of integrity, they will throw themselves behind the injured worker and do the right thing. Get us the proper care, in a timely manor. Thats all we ask. Thanke you for your time.

    • I was refused surgery for one year, and have a scoliosis due to the longterm gait adjustment (I had a knee injury), and became depressed due to the harassment by employer and insurance copany (diagnosed/treated by psychiatrist), and they have, to date, refused to pay for any of those bills. They also haven't paid some of the bills for items they authorized. Was lied to numerous times - including about what my surgeon originally said. No travel expenses were ever paid - in fact, it was 2 years after the injury before I knew I was eligible for reimbursement - and I discovered it myself.

    • You feel like a criminal and the more honest you are the more they can use that against you. I have proof that my employer was breaking the law however if that were true it would mean having to compensate me for damages. This is not justice this is profit or profit.

    • The system needs to be changed. Huge amounts of monies are wasted trying to deny claims. Stats show that less then 1% if wc fraud is from the injured worker. why then are we singled out for such treatment. How many dollars have been lost due to us becoming disabled because of the very system you traded our rights for? I'd rather take my chances with a jury personally.

    • My wife has went from a productive worker who enjoyed her job to a cripple who is depressed and angry. the wc system has put stress and strain on both of us. I thought the system was supposed to take care of the injured worker not make their injury worse. I'm very disappointed in our represenatives for not doing more to help the injured worker.

    • The need for state industrial commissions to follow up with their own rules and not letting WC ins co get away with what they seem to do best, destroy the injured worker and their families by cutting legitament benefits for months at a time without consequences from the overseeing industrial commissions.

    • It is imperative to have the W C laws changed. It is immoral with the current W C laws. Try to learn the incomes of Ins. Co. CEOs & Pres. If in a Union, encourage to have HUGE PENSION FUND monies removed from stock portfolios of W C Ins. Co. We need decent W C laws.

    • The laws must be changed to gain our rights as injured PEOPLE, not injured Employees. Why should there be a difference? It appears as if the Insurance Companies don't trust the Doctors, that's why they have a "Panel of Physicians" for us to pick from. Why wouldn't any Doctor be ok to go to? It is obvious they have us over a barrel. Things must change for injured peole to regain the use of injured body parts & to be able to go back to work. the "windfall" everyone talks about just isn't there!
