    • The parks are Largo's legacy, my children's childhood, my wellness, my peace. Please continue supporting all green spaces and parks! Eagle Lake Park has had a lot of money spent on it and it's time to open it! Stop manicuring nature.

    • These parks provide a great place for families - especially in these difficult economic times. I am afraid if they close, they will fall into disrepair and never reopen. These parks are tangible evidence of our tax dollars at work. Thank you.

Portions of the land that Largo Park is on was donated by progress energy, and this is an insult to them as well as the residents that used it to this day. I have heard that there is a possibility that the Largo Park property will be sold to residential development interest. This is rather ironic I think, Building an area to house more people on a property that is considered a NATURE PRESERVE, largo already has limited amenities for recreational, and nature activities why? This also forces me to make the claim that this was never a nature preserve in the first place rather a preservation of future residential development areas, and makes me wonder what is in store for parks like Eagle lake, and Bonner Park. If pinellas county parks can not keep these amazing parks open then perhaps it is because they do not have the funding to do so. I am sure that the employees, and users of this park have very l

    • This is bs what are they going to take away next the sidewalks we walk on and the roads we drive on cause they don't want to spend money to mantain that also... Just a point we need parks for fun for us the little ones..... I hope we can stop them. It would be a shame to see these wonderful parks close down!
