BOYCOTT THE TONIGHT SHOW ON NBC; WATCH LETTERMAN
The host of the Tonight Show, Mr. Jay Leno, has, for the last three nights
made it a point to gain laughs at the expense of animals.
On February 7th, Leno had the host of Fear Factor as a guest and they made
jokes about the episode that had a bathtub full of cows blood that was used
for bobbing for God knows what, and how it was so disgusting that horse
rectum was eaten by some of the contestants.
On February 10th, Leno made fun of the state of Colorado that passed an ordinance that would recognize dogs and cats as companion animals. Lenos
punch line was, and this may not be word perfect: Yeah, and the companion
animals of Korea are now appetizers.
On February 11th, Leno had a skit of a game show that he called: NAME THAT SOUNDOne of the fake contestants was the president of North
KoreaThe sound was that of a barking dog. The correct answer was:
Thats the sound of my dinner.
For the past 50 plus years, I and countless others have worked tirelessly for
the betterment of our four-legged relatives. When someone like Leno, who
has a large audience, makes statements like this, it make me for one, sick to
the stomach, and it countermines the advances we have made in animal welfare.
If you agree with me, please sign this petition which will be sent to the
president of NBC, letting him know that the general public will not tolerate
this kind of abuse from late night talk shows.
We invite Mr. Leno to visit these websites to check the veracity of this petition.

- Mr Leno is obviously pandering to the large proportion of people in the world who see animal abuse as a trivial issue, if he believes it is trivial then he is as twisted as those who find animal cruelty humorous and if not then he is a coward, a man lacking the sensibility and courage to speak against that which is so obviously wrong

- It's difficult to think that anyone can find the abuse and ill-treatment of animals funny. Mr. Leno should hang his head in shame.

- It is disgusting that any TV show should ever countenance this type of thing. Cruelty to animals is not funny and to try to gain laughs and ratings with this is disgusting. This can only encourage people to do cruel things to animals. These shows must be stopped.

- Perhaps you are unaware of the implications of such actions. By letting people get away with this carnage, they will have no appreciation for the humane treatment of animals.I will boycott NBC until this sick humor ends.
