    • Hypocricy, ignorance and no shame in both has become the hallmark of the Republican party, and you , Sen. Burr, are right at the top of the list.

    • Senator - If for-profit HC insurers have the most efficient and economical means of paying health care providers, why do they need federal protection and price supports? If they can't produce the most efficient and economical payer system without price supports, I don't see why we need them. They've had more then 40 years to deliver and they've failed messerably. Its time for-profit HC insurers moved aside. Its time for the most efficient and most economical payer system. Its time for universal single payer health care coverage for ALL Americans, not just the privileged like yourself. Give us single payer or give up your federally paid for coverage.

    • Burr has corrupted the term "public servant" and redefined it to mean "he with the most money gets the most representation"! He asks that Government keep it's hands off of his government provided and run health insurance. We ask him to keep his filthy hands off of our government!

    • I am a NC voter! If you vote against health care reform and keep you government health care, I will work to make sure you are no longer eligible because you are unemployed. Work for you constituents, no special interests!

    • Seriously. Coming from a person who doesn't have to pay for his health top quality government plan, we the people would like oppositional senators to experience the same thing the rest of us have to deal with. Overpriced plans that force us to make sacrifices.

    • It is ironic you don't want the Federal Government involved in your health care. The irony is that I don't want YOU involved in my health care. You are the problem, Your presence, breathing my air, drinking my water, eating my food and stonewalling rational changes to health insurance are the problem.
