Dear New Line Cinema and Peter Jackson,

We fans of The Fellowship of the Ring thank you for remaining true to the spirit of the book. For this we are eternally grateful. We completely understand that every aspect of the book could not have made it into the finished movie since the theatrical release had needed to be trimmed down to 3 hours, but we want you to know we want MORE. Please know that we, the undersigned, want to see the full uncut version of The Fellowship of the Ring. We want a "director's cut" issued on DVD and home video and we sign this petition so you know there is a market for it.

Below is a list of specific features that we would like to see included on the Dvd, which has been gathered, from hundreds of fans from the LoTR community.

- An Anamorphic Transfer
- Dolby Digital 5.1 Sound Track
- DTS Sound Track
- All the Deleted Scenes reincorporated back into the film proper, not as separate outtakes on a second disc
- All the Teasers and Trailers presented in Anamorphic wide screen and Dolby Digital 5.1
- Directors Commentary Track by PJ
- Additional Commentary Track by some of the actors
- TV Specials such as "A Passage to Middle-earth" as seen on the SCI FI Channel
- Subtitles in Elven
- Miscellaneous Goodies...
