This petition is being made to convince Disney to have Miley Cyrus perform at the Disney Channel Games 2008. Yes, she was originally going to perform but because of the Vanity Fair photos they removed her from the performances. In all honesty, I think this is unfair to both Miley and her fans. I understand that the pictures taken were somewhat "revealing" and that she made a wrong decision when she took them, but Disney shouldn't remove her from the games. Miley made the decision to take the pictures and her parents supported her. The pictures themselves aren't that bad. To be honest, they were barely that revealing. A simple two piece bathing suit is MUCH more revealing than the photos that she had taken. So she was topless, she had a sheet to cover herself. The most skin she was showing was her back. Her chest wasn't showing, in fact, you can't see any bit of her cleavage or her breast, so why is it so bad? Its just her back. She appologized for her wrong decision so she deserves the right to perform. She knows it was wrong so why not forgive her? It's true that Disney is trying to 'contain' her, but why take it to the point where her fans are affected as well? Since she will be filming her new movie very soon why not give her one last chance to perform in front of a live audience? In a sense, isn't filming containment enough? So she made a mistake, she still has the right to perform. There are thousands of fans who are anticipating her performance. Thousands of dedicated fans who want Miley to perform. Sign this petition if you want Miley to perform and I PROMISE you that this will be sent to the head of Disney. If you want to see Miley perform at the games and you support her please sign your name here, every name counts. - I agree that this is too excessive for a punishment. I believe that people in the industry such as Miley's have a very difficult life to balance because of all the standards we expect of them. I agree she is or should be a good example to her fans but I also believe as a parent for four children that parents should be the role or the people responsible on how their children are going to turn out in life.

- i think that this is really wrong. why should she be blame for what she does for a living? hello girls grow out of the disney age, but they keep helping out with disney. also like someone else pointed out, vanessa anne hudgens did this too. her pictures were much worst than miley's. disney is wrong to do this to her fans also who want to see the favorite singer. plus she has apologize many times so give her a break she's got enought stuff on her plate already(: btw hi cousinn! :D
