PBS, the station which has aired Mister Rogers Neighborhood for the past 40 years, has decided to drop the show from their lineup come September 1st. This is a terrible feeling because Mister Rogers has enriched the lifes of children for years. PBS is dropping the show because they say there isn't any room to air the show with new animated children's shows starting. NO ROOM FOR MISTER ROGERS FOLKS! What will happen to children growing up today without the thoughts/feelings/and motivations from this man. From watching the show, children and adults learn about the ways to express yourself in life and to be the person you are. How will that message be delivered to children when the show won't be airing each day.
PBS was able to say that some affiliates have the option to airing the show for one episode on the weekends. That just isn't enough. Please help save Mister Rogers Neighborhood from not airing at all. This just can't happen!

- They can't take this show off! It was one of my favorites growing up, and I do still watch it sometimes! Please PBS, rethink your decision!

- I grew up with Mr. Rogers on TV. He should always be around for kids even today to enjoy the show.

- This is disgusting. An amazing and groundbreaking television show such as Mister Roger's Neighborhood being thrown away becasue PBS feels cartoons are more important is troubling. I am sixteen years old, and even though Mr. Roger's is on at 6AM here, every morning I still watch it, because it brings back memories of when I was little, and his messages are still useful even today. PBS, what kind of message can a cartoon animal send? Think twice before you follow through with this awful, and devestating desicion.

- Children today NEED to learn the lessons Mr. Rogers taught - they need to hear everyday "you make each day such a special day by just being yourself" they need to know that there is no one like them...and that someone likes them just the way they are...Mr. Rogers has been raising kids for 50 years - and he NEEDS to keep doing so...SAVE MR. ROGERS NEIGHBORHOOD!

- Please return Mr. Rogers to a daily program. It is the only show I allow my 3-year old to watch on a regular basis. The songs, variety of themes & visitors, and slow (non-flashy) pace are wonderful and unique.
