The integration between Office and PhotoDraw is superb and a completely
different experience compared to other Image editing programes from
Microsoft and third party vendors. Friend of mine said, Picture It! and other photo-editing programs are for home users. PhotoDraw delivers a photoediting environment that integrates tightly with other Office apps, Word, PPT, FrtPg & Publisher. Rather than have a halfway program like Picture Library, why not just make the product into a full blown image graphics app, that relates more and integrates more with Office.

I can recall vividly on the PhotoDraw product box, it said "Office Business
graphics program", so since you guys Microsoft say that we should use Picture It! for business, why aren't you recommending Works Suite for our business
environment. Strange. For the money concious consumer, PhotoDraw was a life
saver, most of us can't afford Photoshop and Photoshop Elements does not offer the expeience and feel of an Office application, Photodraw provided the basic tools to edit images easily and create beatiful graphics with ease because of its familiar Office GUI. Digital Image Pro, does not have the flexibility of PhotoDraw, like I said that program is for home users, not people who have a business.

So put it this way:
PhotoDraw - Business
Digital Image Pro - Home
Just like Windows XP:
Professional: Business users
Home Edition: Home users - Practice what you preach!

    • I have been Testing Windows and other programs since December 1997 and I miss PhotoDraw, without it the Microsoft Office family lacks of graphic power.

    • I think that they need to bring back microsoft photodraw because i love to make pictures on it and it is really fun,and i would like to buy it for on of my friends that dose not have it, and why whould you take a good program like that off of the market, like the only time i get to use it is when i am at school, and i am always getting into truble because i take my digital camera to school and upload my pictures on the the computer and edit them, then i have to upload them back on to my camera when i am done. So i think that they need that program to start selling again.

    • Times Publishing prefers PhotoDraw's ease of use over Photoshop's complex, non-intuitive modus operandi. Bring it back or licence to another developer!

    • PLEASE re-release PhotoDraw!! I found it to be wonderful. But unfortunately it seemed to be a "best kept secret". More marketing to the right audience (wanna-be graphic designers without the resources or the time to buy and learn adobe products) would have helped!
