Whereas, failure to include Medicaid on the appropriations agenda of the 2009 Second Extraordinary Session will effectively repeal the Division of Medicaid; and

Whereas, many low-income and elderly Mississippians depend on services provided by the Division of Medicaid in order to access healthcare;

Therefore, the undersigned respectfully request the inclusion of Medicaid on the appropriations agenda of the 2009 Second Extraordinary Session.
