This petition is for 'the right of all New Brunswick citizens to challenge the New Brunswick Legislative Assembly to table on line petitions'. New Brunswick should lead the way to modernize the antiquated petition guidelines and be the first to take this step into the 21st century.

Cbc.ca( May 20th, 2009) "House leader Michael Murphy said it is about time to modernize the rules after Bill Fraser, the acting Speaker, was forced to reject on Tuesday a petition (Online) from more than 7,400 New Brunswickers demanding government funding for a cancer drug. Murphy said the antiquated rule overseeing how petitions are collected will be discussed the next time the legislature's procedures committee convenes."

We the undersigned hereby petition the members of the New Brunswick Legislative Assembly to make immediate changes to modernize the antiquated petition guideline and to accept on line petitions.

This petition is brought by concerned New Brunswick citizens and challenge the New Brunswick Legislative Assembly to take immediate action to modernize petition guideline.

    • We are in agreement to support anything concerning cancer treatments and right it should be as we pay enough for outside are country to help others they should look after there own people first before sending money to other countries if it is left then so be it send all they want but cancer is deadly and should look after our people first !!
