Nebraska LB 677 is a much needed bill to limit the number of dogs in puppymills to 75. AND to make them actually take care of the dogs properly.

- I have personally seen what kind of people breeders really are and I have no problem saying I hate them and I do not support them. However, since I know there will always be those who are too shortsighted to see this and will continue to breed in our already overpopulated world, I demand there be stricter rules towards breeders and that they be enforced to the full extent of the law.

- Please don'let these innocent animals suffer for the purpose of greed, have a heart and let them be treated more humanely. As a rescue rep I get dogs from mills all the tme that are in horrific shape physically and emotionally, all to stock the pet stores-Please help limit the cruelty by at least makeing their condtions less painful. If you could see these dogs as I do with teeth so rotten their jaw is broken, uteruses full of pus and cancer from over-breeding, knee caps that are out of sockets b/c they live in cramped cages, deformed joints for the same reason and the breeding stock that is eventually culled for nonproduction is so socially and emotionally scarred that putting them down is in some cases the most human option, all for greed and to stock pet stores. At least let their living conditions be more humane, dogs have actually FROZEN to death and died of heat stroke in outside kennels. Please -PLEASE help them.Deb Pankau RN, MSN FNPBC
