Signers of this petition hereby request that Major League Baseball (MLB) reconsider the start time for Game 2 of the National League Championship Series (NLCS), to be held this Friday, October 10, 2008. The current schedule calls for a start time of 4:35 pm, with the preferred time slot being given to the ALCS game at 8:07 pm. In light of the fact that a West Coast team (LA Dodgers) are participating in the NLCS, a schedule that places the ALCS game in an earlier timeslot and the NLCS in a later time slot would appear more suitable and appropriate for the portion of the audience located in the Pacific time zone. Giving the ALCS the preferred timeslot despite this reasoning demonstrates a clear bias for the American League on behalf of MLB.

- This is also unfair to the Philadelphia fans. They represent the fourth largest market - LA the second or third.
