The location of Aberdeen Football Club's new stadium (Loirston Loch, Nigg) is terrible, Aberdeenshire based supporters will have to travel further & supporters that live in town will have to also travel further, all in all this location is only ideal for away supporters, how can Aberdeen FC choose a location that only benefits away supporters?

    • Loirston is the wrong location. It should be in Kings Links. Putting out at Cove won't solve traffic problems, it'll just move them, and will make it worse as the fans all have to travel across town, to some extent, to get home.

    • This site is part of a nature reserve and should be left alone. Many species of birds and wildlife thrive in this area and would be destroyed if this development went ahead. Also it would not help business to thrive as visitors would not go to the city centre and spend on bars and cafes. Only places South of Aberdeen would benefit.

    • I think it should be at Pittodrie - MLS stadiums outside the downtown of US cities are like ghost towns - 1/3 to 1/2 empty yet with auto traffic hassles - an infinitely poorer atmosphere

    • Why destroy the Greenbelt land and wildlife habitat, to build a Stadium which neither the supporters nor the general public want, just to benefit AFC. If a new stadium is needed, it should be situated as near as possible to where AFC started , that is Pittodrie. A new stadium will only benefit AFC, not the community as stated.
