We are proud Canadians.

We love our country.

Our national anthem must be updated to reflect the realities of today's society. One phrase has to be changed.

There are both sons AND daughters fighting for Canada, dying for Canada, having equal rights in Canada.

To have to sing, "in all thy sons command" leaves out half of the population!

Here is how we would like to change the old anthem to make it reflect the realities of today's society.

Here are the OLD lyrics:

O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love IN ALL THY SONS COMMAND.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!
From far and wide, O Canada,
We stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land glorious and free!
