You are about to sign a petition to attempt to transfer one of the 80's best cartoon shows into a Digital Video Disc (DVD). Why do all the other 80's greats, and not so greats, get turned into an awesome DVD collectors set and the best, the Real Ghostbusters, continues to be one that is ignored?! One of the 80's biggest pop icon? Why do the Real Ghostbusters always get ignored when other cartoons are being remade and re-released, i.e., He-man, Care Bears and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (For TMNT the fans did exactly what you are about to participate in) So why not make it the Real Ghostbusters turn?!
Well, I think we've all had enough and it is time for us all to make a stand! We've waited lloonngg enough! So if you feel they same way then this petition is for you!

    • This was one of the best cartoons of our time, and made a great fallow up to the greatest movie of all time. Ghostbusters was by far cherished by many, and when the cartoon was released, the dream lived on and still does in every "ghosthead's" heart. I love the movies, the cartoons, and everything related to the ghostbusting legacy and would give all I could to make sure that this DVD is produced to "keep the dream alive" in all of us...its just the right thing to do.

    • As being a huge ghosthead and actually trying to start my own protest to get RGB on dvd, I am in great faith that signing this petition will do some good! This dvd series should be made and I support our fight 100 percent. It's good to see other people fighting for what DrEgonSpengler and I tried to fight for a few months ago.     • As a child of the eighties, Ghostbusters and everything connected to it had a HUGE impact on my development as a child, which also has influenced an intrigue of mine that was always there but whose source was not exactly known until quite recently. I got ahold of some rather poor quality video files of RGB episodes and fondly remember them from my childhood on Saturday mornings on ABC. I would love to see them be released on DVD. I am disappointed that the file qualities are so awful and I really don't feel like being engaged in a hunt for second generation videotape copies from other fans, because I have neither the time, money, or effort to be put into such an undertaking of tracking those down. I think many fans probably feel the same way and the money spent towards a well put together DVD that will last will be well worth my money as opposed to other options. Please make this a reality. My favorite episode still stands as Citizen Ghost. I loved the tie-in to the first movie. Make it happen!

    • This was one of the best animated series ever even the sequil (Extreme) was well written with excellent characters but never got much of a chance, it would profitable for Sony to give this franchise an other chance to be enjoyed by the fans. I enjoy getting the DVD's and I'm sure Sony would profit so it would be good all around.

    • This is my favorite show of all time, I grew up on it, it MUST be released on DVD, I don't know why Columbia keeps holding back the Ghostbusters franchise (their smothering of Ghostbusters III, the crappy release Ghostbusters 2 got on DVD)...Release it now

    • I would pay good money for DVD's of "The Real Ghostbusters" series. Especially DVD's of the later series of "Slimer! And The Real Ghostbusters", because these weren't even released on VHS.
