We, the undersigned, request the sport of Softball be re-instated by the International Olympic Committe (IOC) for the 2016 Olympic Games and all future Olympic Games thereafter.

    • I think it was a big mistake!!! Yea the softball olympic team is very dominate, but you dont hear people saying micheal phelps cant swim in the olympics because he won some many medals in the last olympics! So it is not far! I mean thats what you go there for, to win and bring home the medal! Thats what they are paid to do! They are jsut doing their job! Just really good and winning everything!! And there is absouluty nothing wrong with that

    • There are so many other sports that are in the Olympics that could have been choosen to be removed, but because they are not dominated by the USA they kept them. I find it funny that so many people want to move to this country because of the freedoms that we have here, but then when we dominate in anything, people or other countries shun us. Let the game of Softball be allowed to come back to the Olympics it is the only thing that brings the world together as one. Every few years.

    • When I first saw that they were going to take softball out of the olympics I cryed for 10 minutes!! I was so upset. Then I read the article about how they were going to try and get it back for the 2013 olympics and I cheered!!

    • I do not feel the IOC should have voted softball out. Why can Phelps win 8 gold medals and dominate, but softball cannot do the same? Isn't the point of the Olympics to be the best and dominate at what you do.
