PETITION THE "ORPHAN ACT" NOW!

The "Orphan Act" does nothing but force people to verify work that they've created is theirs, art they've created with their own hands and mind which is the clearest form of ownership in and of itself. The specifics of this registration process are unknown as of yet (won't be free I assure you). Currently, if you create art with your own hands it is YOURS period. The "Orphan Act" would change this by pinning copyright of "Unregistered Art" on some as yet undescribed registration process or a "reasonable" search for the original author of the, if the search does not turn up the author or turns up an owner that can not, for any reason, fulfill the registration process the art is freely available and labeled an "Orphaned Art Work."
