  • Why is State Govt selling almost half our local reserve? This reserve is a living story of our inherited past and I believe needs to be conserved for future generations. In 2001 Warringah Council performed the "Warringah Heritage Study" of "Major Local Significance" and its "Recommended Management" was "Significance of the park should be recognised by statutory heritage listing" for two reasons 1. "economy" it is where local sandstone was quarried and used in local infrastructure and 2. "culture" for leisure activities associated with recreation and relaxation.

  • Freshwater has enough development as it is. Please leave the calming green space alone. People move to this suburb because they like the feeling of serenity that having greenery around you brings. It is well known that people get aggressive when they feel they have no personal space!
