- The FBI has uncovered federal law violations in Luzerne County. There were state laws violated as well, will they be addressed by the state? County officals used county issued credit cards for personal use to buy boose. The ethics law states a $5000 fine and possible jail time. It does not state unless it was a mistake. I believe the amount exceeded $42,000. What about bribery is that just a federal offense?
