Blackpool Pleasure Beach has been free to enter for over 100yrs & guests have walked around this themepark stacked in history for free.

To ride the rides or use anything on the park the used to have to buy a day pass at 30 or pay as you go.

In 2009 Blackpool Pleasure Beach are to wipe away this 100yrs of free history & CHARGE 5 just to step on the park.. WE THINK IT'S WRONG.

From 2009, punters will have to pay a minimum 5 charge to enter Blackpool Pleasure Beach & car park charges & wristband charges which could top 40 per person.

The park refused to comment but said it was telling customers about the change this year so that they had time to get used to it.

The company introduced charges at its Southport theme park during the latter years of that attraction's operation, but the park later closed DUE TO LACK OF CUSTOMERS.

"This is surely madness. They tried introducing an entry fee to Southport and then they said it was no longer viable." BOTH PARKS CLOSED DUE TO LACK OF CUSTOMERS.
