Pakistanis being Subjected to Discrimination - In Pakistan!!

Interestingly the foreigners working in Pakistan are still enjoying discriminatory privileges over their Pakistani colleagues, while being paid from the Pakistani tax payers' money..

Pakistan Dairy Development Company (PDDC or, as it is commonly known, Dairy Pakistan) has been established to drive the development of the Pakistan dairy sector. Dairy Pakistan is a Public-Private sector joint initiative to bring about structural long term change in the dairy industry in Pakistan under the Ministry of Industries, Government of Pakistan.

Being run by a foreigner, the company not only has a number of foreigners working in the areas, where we have local competence available, but it also pays them on a different pay scale. However, recently this discrimination went to a different scale altogether, when the CEO of Dairy Pakistan issued a directive that if he finds any litter in the office, it will be cleaned by the team members of a randomly selected division (See attached picture of the notification). While this idea, which seems noble at the outset, gives exclusive exemption to all the expatriates working in the company from such an exercise.

    • Unfortunately, as a nation we have still not grown out of our "white man supremacy mindset". I have seen first hand evidence of this mind set at the very highest levels of government. It will be better for the country if we shun this attitude once and for all.

    • An enquiry should be conducted to ascertain whether the charges are true or not. If found guilty. Mr. Walker should be fired immediately to retire this white man's burden.
