This petition is intended to request the return of full access of the streaming video content services of www.hulu.com to users of Sony Playstation 3 video game console and it's included web browsing software.

The undersigned users of the Playstation 3 video game console have previously had open access to the streaming video content found on www.hulu.com since approximately October 18th 2008 and/or the date of the public launch of the Hulu service on March 12th 2008.

We the undersigned found that active, in many cases daily usage of the service via our Playstation 3 console to be not only entertaining and/or informational but in every way deserving of the same right to usage as PC and/or MAC computer users.

To deny us the same free ad-supported-content in a limited-commercial model in which Playstation 3 users are required to watch the same advertisements that PC and/or MAC users must is not only unfair, but a totally unethical business practice.

We the undersigned formally request that Playstation 3 consoles be "un-blocked" from the streaming video content found on www.hulu.com.

(This petition is only intented for the service that HULU provides in the United States and Playstation 3 usage in the United States)

- Having used Hulu every day on my PS3 until it was blocked, I will not continue trying to spread the word to friends/family about Hulu nor will I return to the website.

- I don't personally own a PS3 but I see no reason why it should be blocked from any internet site because of the platform( unless the site is for computer downloads or something, which I don't know why anybody on a ps3 would go on but hey).

- Blocking a specific browser and platform is a slippery slope that could lead to all sorts of very bad things. It may be the ps3 now, but it could be Linux or Macs tomorrow. Doesn't this go against the idea behind hulu being to share our televised culture? Browser and Platform neutrality should be maintained, and if specific companies are complaining hulu should build in the ability for access to be blocked on specific videos, thus allowing the outrage to be put on the owners rather than on hulu itself.
