My fellow PS3 owners;
Our beloved system is amounting to be one of the greatest in the history of gaming, yet there is something that I and many others like me can never get over. The little boring notification window that pops up in the right hand corner of the screen when someone comes online or you recieve a message. It is a dull little grey box that is almost to vague and boring to pay any notice to when in an intense frag-fest or palm-sweating heat lap. It may also get in the way of something that is dearly needed, I know I am not the only one who shed a lone tear when the notification popped up in front of my Resistance: Fall of Man radar.
Now some people may say, "The new themes can change the color of the window." True, but only when not in game, which makes it virtually useless. Another argument may be, "Just turn off the notification window so it doesn't get in the way of the radar." But then what happens if my clan needs me for a much needed clan war and I miss the message?
I have an idea that will fix all of these issues and also make it much more in-tune with the rest of the Playstation 3 interface. A moderator at the forums of Insomniac Games run myresistance.net. A community for open for all gamers made a design that isn't only pleasing to the eye, but lets just say it is uber leet. ;) The design made by Draicus can be seen here

Now wouldn't you like to be greeted everytime by this window? I sure would.
Now that we have visuals down it is time for placement. I believe that we should be able to choose where we would like the window to pop up. i.e. the top right, bottom center, top left etc. Sony has been good to us so far, is this too much to ask?
