THIS IS A PETITION TO HAVE GOVERNOR PATRICK QUINN (ILLINOIS) IMPEACHED AND DECLARED MENTALLY INCOMPETENT TO HOLD OFFICE AND THE POSITION PUT AFORTH TO THE OFFICE OF GOVERNOR AND DUTIES OF SUCH HEREIN!

We have a limited amount of time to act and we must stop this from happening, The fiscal year budget for 2010 is damning indeed..See here:

Education-$1.5 billion cut=over 14300 teachers laid off state wide
Cuts school aid by $568 million=9300 teachers jobless
Eliminates preschool for 100000 children=5000 preschool teachers to be jobless

Eliminates ALL state scholarships

Healthcare-$1.2 billion cut=Over 650000 people lose healthcare
Eliminates healthcare for 300000 children and 175000 parents and RX assistance for 172000 seniors
Eliminates ALL healthcare subsidies for 78000 retired teachers,university,and state employees

Seniors-$368 million cut=Over 271000 seniors affected
Cuts community care programs in half=26000 seniors wouldn't receive services to help remain in their homes
Eliminates the Elder Abuse and Neglect Program=11000 cases wouldn't be investigated
Eliminates the Circuit Breaker Program=cuts property tax relief for 271000 seniors

Veterans-$27 million cut=Over 150000 veterans affected=1000 will be kicked out of Veterans Homes
Eliminates the Traumatic Brain Injury and P.T.S.D. counseling and assistance program

Public Safety-$294 million cut=Nearly 1000 State Troopers laid off=eliminates all (100 in number) of the class of 2010 Illinois State Police cadets and 6000 inmates released from I.D.O.C. early Closure of 4 of the Illinois Department Of Juvenile Justice facilities and the release of 500 Juvenile offenders early, closes Sheridan and South Western Drug Treatment facilities

Human Services-$769 million cut=Over 100000 people affected Elimination of home services for 5000 people disabled

elimination of addiction treatment facilities for 45000 people

Closes 1 out of every 5 I.D.H.S. facilities

Eliminates child care for 1000 kids and increases co-pays for remaining children

Economic Development-$549 million cut=Every mass transit district affected

Eliminates ALL state funding for public transit including A.M.T.R.A.K.

Agricultural and Natural Resources-$98 million cut=60 parks closed and EVERY state museum in Illinois CLOSED

Shuts down half of the state parks and lays off one third of frontline park staff

Eliminates ALL state funding to the Illinois State Fairs in Springfield and Duquoin,4-H, and county fairs

Local Government-$1 billion cut=Eliminates state funding to local government and greatly reduces their ability to fund Law Enforcement,Fire,and Garbage services..states attorney's and county treasurers

Additional-$1 billion cut=Required additional DEEP reductions in agency services and specialized programs,Eliminates support for numerous specialized programs and eliminates dozens of state boards,offices,commissions,and agencies

You Governor in the matter of these cuts proposed thus prooveth 1 thing, You're becoming a regular Communist type leader running in a groove and deaf to the pleas from Illinoisans that you not impose these acts herein.
Thus there is no use in your trying to impugn the validity of this
(so called) necessary action by shaking your head in the teeth of your own deeds. Will you persist in hurling the corner stone of the people of the great state of Illinois's needs to your wolfish hounds of collectors thirsting for it's blood? You Governor have forgotten the the needs of the PEOPLE hold paramount before the needs of the STATE and it's budget planing or desire to meet a budget.

If you Governor are persistent in these acts the first thing you know you will have the chariot of a justly indictment rolling amidst you and there will be only 1 outcome:IMPEACHMENT and the baring of you from ever holding ANY state position what so ever.
