Ebay rules are unfair to sellers.
We, the undersigned, believe that Ebay rules are unfairly geared toward the buyer without regard to the sellers rights. Sellers are unable to leave negative feedback should a buyer cause problems. This leaves sellers without any protection from spiteful buyers or scammers. This also defeats the purpose of the feedback system since sellers are not able to be truthful.
Ebay also limits the sellers ability to accept forms of payment besides Paypal, limiting buyers and closing the market for people who are not comfortable using paypal and wish to pay with checks or money orders.
Ebay also limits the sellers rights to accept or not accept returns on items, they rarely investigate the truth behind sales in which people have buyers remorse and ask for a refund with false reasoning.
In short, the sellers who pay all the money for the services of ebay have no protection at all.
Therefore, we ask that Ebay take a closer look at the situation and revise it's policies to return Ebay to the great marketplace it once was.

- I have been a loyal customer of EBay for many years, both as a buyer and seller. But these new EBay rules are unfair and unjust. They offer NO protection to the sellers and the buyers have a "Yes We Can" policy. These new rules allow the seller to scam the buyer without any punishment. The seller cant do anything about it. IT'S NOT FAIR that the buyer has protection and the seller has none. EBay needs to change the rules to offer BOTH the buyer and seller protection. Untill the rules cahange, I will NOT sell on EBay. I also will NOT buy on EBay. Not because I am worried about being scamed, but because you are SOOOOOO UNFAIR to the sellers.

- As a seller I feel that I am not protected by ebay in anyway. I do hope their policies change or I will be findinga new venue for sales.

- I have been both a seller and buyer on eBay for eleven years. Because of unfair dealings I've had lately, due to eBay's unfair practices, I am no longer buying or selling on eBay's sight. I will return to eBay if and when fair rules are put back in place.

- Unfair to seller as" we" are YOUR customers by paying the fees, not the buyers.

- ebay is making it harder and harder for anyone trying to sell anything. they must not realize that if it wasn't for the sellers, they would have no buyers!!!!!!

- Ebay you have poor business ethics, sellers are your customers yet sellers are treated like criminals and as for your paypal rule of holding funds i think is disgusting in holding the postage component of the funds, many sellers cannot afford to be paying out for multiple postage costs out of their own pocket, what would you be thinking if you worked and your employer held onto your wages but you had to keep paying out of your own pocket for money you didnt have in your hand, its time you lot cleaned up your act and started listening to your customers. It is the sellers that keep Ebay in business, not the buyers and it is only a matter of time before Ebay feels the negative effects

- Ebay, if all of us sellers left, then there would not be any buyers. Please think over your policies, we, the sellers are the ones who pay all the fees. Please put it back to what it used to be, a fun marketplace.

- I have to agree Ebay is Not Fair to it's Sellers ...Ebay takes the side of the buyer with the least bit of reguard to the Seller who are after all the ones that make it possible for Ebay to exist ...We provide you your livelihood and you could care less about ours . That is Not Very Nice , is it

- Over the years I have witnessed ebay policies steadily becoming more biased toward buyers and hostile toward sellers. We should not have to fear selling on your site. Sellers pay your fees, you should treat us better. Every time I get an announcement from you I'm afraid to open it as it usually contains more restrictions and unfair changes regarding sellers. Please take this petition seriously, as this is a serious problem. Thank you

- I am a buyer on Ebay and have not sold anything and I feel ebay is unfair to sellers! Ebay used to be a safe place for us all but now buyers can scam sellers and request refunds without just cause and it's not fair.

- Ebay's recent changes make it very easy for buyers to be unfair to sellers...asking for returns, being non payers etc.; the list goes on. As a seller only being able to leave positive feedback is really not a good practice if the transaction didn't go well (most of the time the transaction goes well ). Ebay needs to remember who pays THEIR bills; THE SELLERS!

- As a buyer, I LOVE Ebay, but as a seller, I hate it. The whole selling thing has a real effect on nerves and it is just getting worse, to the point that I will list my baby on other sites, such as Oztion, and even ETSY. Ebay isnt the only place we can go. Once more people realise that, then the other sites will prove to be more successful and Ebay will be left with nothing. Come on Ebay, take a look at how difficult you are making it for sellers...the sellers who are actually providing YOU with the business, not the buyers. Start taking care of those who fund your pockets.
