Dear XM/Sirius Radio Executive Management;
We, the undersigned, are asking the Executive Management to reinstate Matt (The Cat) Baldassarri to the 50s on 5.
Matt has been more than a Disc Jockey to many of us over the years and is the best on-air talent in the industry terrestrial or terra firma. Over the years he has gone from a few listeners on a fledgling product called satellite radio to being part of a much larger family.
We, the Prowler Friends, have become friends with each other, and with Matt. We have exchanged emails, recordings, and stories. More importantly, we tuned into Matt every night to see what he would play and who would call in to say Hi.
Over the years we have converted our friends to XM Radio after they listened to Matts show sometimes for just 30 minutes. They were hooked and immediately bought the equipment and the service.
Matt has an extraordinary amount of knowledge about the wonderful music of the 1950s and would find some recordings that we all thought were long gone. Each night was a new adventure in a time capsule and he was right, there was no other station playing this music. That is why we listened to him!
Please reinstate Matt as our Furry Leader and give us back our music. Without Matt, there is no longer a need for XM or Sirius.

- Please reinstate Matt! He is the only reason many of us subscribe to satellite radio. Many of us have wonderful record collections that we can listen to nightly without paying a subscribing fee - the reason we listened (and paid) was for Matt!

- Matt is extremely knowledgable, friendly and personable, and has re-introduced us to music of the 50's that had been deeply buried in our memory banks. NO OTHER 50's or oldies DJ plays the variety of tunes that we hear every night on the Night Prowl Show. Matt has become a friend and health-care provider to fifties-lovers who've maintained their youth by the nightly connection to the thousands of others who have similar interests and values.

- Matt was the reason I got a satellite radio. His excellent show was the first thing I listened to. I can't name a single other DJ on any other channel. There is something to be said for quality programming with knowledgeable and personable hosts. Matt worked hard to present informative and fun shows that kept me coming back. I love oldies music, but I can hear it anywhere. I chose to get my dose on Matt's show because he made tuning in special. I wish Matt the best of everything and I know that whatever he does next will be as fantastic as the effort he put in for 7 years on XM. Thank you Matt the Cat, my Furry Leader.

- I listen to Matt the Cat more often than I watch TV or any other radio program simply because he is extremely good at what he does and his programs are contagious. Terminating Matt would be the wrong business decision especially when he is positioned to increase your listener base. Such a move would frankly be counter productive. Please reconsider and reap the benefits. And, I will cancel my subscription if I am unhappy with the decision.

- Matt is XM radio for me...not only at home but also 8 hours a day at work making my job bearable..The week and a half Matt and Kelly were on vacation I actually didn't use my XM because the automated music was boring....the pizazz of our furry leader was missing ...I willingly pay for a service that you are taking away from me unwillingly...if you cancel Matt, maybe my family members and I should cancel our XM subscriptions.

- The Night Prowl Show is the reason I originally got XM and now see no reason to keep the two subscriptions I have. Mel Karmazin is a complete hypocrite based on his actions verses his sales pitch he gave the public and the FCC while lobbying to get the "merger" approved.

- What's the point of keeping your subscription if all you are going to hear are generic songs in a computer generated format? Sounds like FM to me. How could management be so stupid as to remove a true professional who loved his work and it showed every night and on Harlem? They better revisit their math because they might just lose more in subscription revenue than he cost them. He goes, so do I. Bring back Matt the Cat!!!!!!

- Matt appeals to all ages with his show. 50's are no longer just for the old people out there. Matt has the most diverse 50's shows ever. It will not be the same without his Halloween show this year. Bring back this man and pay him more money because he is worth every penny!

- I am so saddened to hear the news about Matt the cat being let go from XM his show was one of the reasonsI bought into XMafter hearing online via the online radio sub. Matt was the best dj on XM. Now I am thinking very very hard at cancelling my XM sub if he does not return.
