  • The past two expansion paks have almost been as much as the actual game! And now we're gonna be charged $50 for the software, and $10 a month to play it??? I think thats ridiculous, and I will NOT be buying it. I think that the greed bug has bitten Maxis.

  • I think it is EXTREMELY unfair to have to pay to play the Sims Online. We have already spent enough money on games and expansion packs, and some people just don't have the money to spend for games.

  • Sims is getting REALLY expensive! I think when you have paid for the game, 2 expansions and online software, it is a real rip off to charge an extra $10 monthly. Shame on you, Will Wright. The fans were the ones that made the Sims! You shouldn't go over their backs.

  • Maxis, I believe your taken advantage of your fans, and for that matter I hope Sim Online Fails and you have to sign over your sim games to another company. But in any case I'd still like to see you come back to the top, As any case you could make The Sims Online Free, because not everyone has a credit card, and not everyone can afford 10 dollars a month. So your buying a 50 dollar game that can't even make a paper wieght and you can't even play it. What joy to a company thats supossed to bring fun.

BUT I HAD TO RE-BUY LL AND THE SIMS DUE TO THE FACT THAT I HAD BOUGHT AN ILLEGAL LL (version 1.0, and I didnt know it was illegal. I payed 29.95!), BUT I USED ALL OF MY MONEY ON THAT! THEN I HAD TO REBUY THE SIMS DUE TO THE FACT THAT IT GOT THROWN AWAY! SO I PAYED FOR HP, THEN I PAYED 2 TIMES FOR THE SIMS AND LL EACH! IVE PAYED $169! I CANT AFFORD TO SPEND ANOTHER 50 BUX, THEN PLAY 10 DOLLARS A MONTH! I WONT BE ABLE TO BE WITH THE NEWEST CRAZE! ILL HAVE TO BE LIKE A NEWBIE! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As you can see, I cant and I wont play it! This is the first time Ive ever been upset with Maxis/EA. Just lower the prices!

  • I have put forth a great deal of money for the Sims. With the three games (the main and the two expansions) not to mention the books as well. I do believe that this is a bit pricey for an online gameing experience as there are many servers out there that offer them free.

  • Maxis has sold over 4 Million copies of the original The Sims alone, not counting the millions of Livin Large and Houseparty sales. So many of us have already invested $50 for The Sims, $30 for Livin Large and $30 for HouseParty, the least that Maxis could do is cut us a little break. They may be the brains behind The Sims but our Community is definately the Braun!
