We, the undersigned, want the video game 'Dead Rush' that was being developed by Treyarch and was recently cancelled by Activision to be completed and published. We pledge to purchase the game when it is released, provided it lives up to its promise of a new "Grand Theft Auto"-style take on survival horror, and the overall production quality (graphics, sound, and gameplay) is at least on par with other titles released at or around the same time

    • The concept of the game sounded extremely entertaining, and Treyarch have proven themselves as developers with Spider-man 2.

    • Innovative games are a dying breed. Dead Rush took open ended GTA style gameplay and added a whole new dynamic to it, which I was excited to see. I hope this gets ressurected (pun intended). I suppopse we'll get a crappy movie based game instead.

    • I am a Gamecube owner, and find myself mostly purchasing Nintendo titles because much of the materials released by the video game industry of late seem to me to be unimaginative rehashes. Dead Rush, however, looked very exciting to me; from the materials put out about it so far it looked like something different, something captivating and creative. It was honestly at the point I heard it had been cancelled one of my most anticipated upcoming titles, and definitely the single title I was most excited about by any publisher other than Nintendo. I know it's easy to ignore petitions, especially internet-based ones, but please reconsider your abandonment of this title. Every name on this list is a sale that you are throwing away.

    • I was really excited about this one. I caught a strong Dawn of the Dead / 28 Days Later vibe off of this game, which I haven't really seen anywhere else. Maybe Rockstar could pick this one up. Heck, they've already got the driving engine.
